Our Founder

L4 Sentinel Services, LLC was founded by Katie Y. Lightfoot, whose life and leadership reflect the values of service, perseverance, and excellence.

After immigrating from South Korea to the United States at a young age, Katie embraced the opportunities this country provided through hard work, education, and dedication. She earned two degrees from Boise State University, completed the Army ROTC program, and was commissioned as a United States Army officer.

During her distinguished military career, Katie served in leadership positions around the world, including a combat deployment to Afghanistan, where she was awarded the Bronze Star Medal for exceptionally meritorious service. Her military experience developed the leadership principles that continue to guide L4 Sentinel Services, LLC: integrity, accountability, mission focus, and genuine care for the people we serve.

As Chief Executive Officer & President, Katie leads L4 Sentinel Services, LLC with a vision of building a company known for technical excellence, trusted partnerships, and exceptional client service. Her leadership ensures that every project is approached with professionalism, innovation, and a commitment to protecting people, the environment, and our clients’ missions.
